We would like to thank you for choosing Sheffield’s Diamonds to purchase your diamond. It is our goal to accurately and honestly evaluate your items. In order to offer you the best price possible, all items are tested, weighed, measured, and graded to GIA standards. These specifications are then compared to current market values based on quarterly reports.
As long as you use our prepaid label, your items will automatically be insured. In order for your package to be insured properly, USPS must physically scan the barcode on your USPS label. This can be done either at your local post office or you may call USPS and schedule a pick up from your residence. Your prepaid label will already have a tracking number associated with it; simply go to www.USPS.com to track the status of your package. Sending us your diamonds confirms you are its legal owner, over 21 years of age, and agree to the terms and conditions (see reverse).
When your item(s) are received, a video of the un-packaging, weighing and testing will be done of your diamond(s). When everything has been processed, your video and offer will be emailed to you. If you elect to accept our offer, a check will be processed and mailed to you by the following business day.
Place your diamonds in the clear plastic security bag that is enclosed. Next, email us at eric@sheffieldsdiamonds.com to receive a prepaid USPS shipping label. Place this label onto an overnight express mail envelope containing the enclosed tear-proof Tyvek return envelope. You may also use your own packaging if you’d like. Simply place the prepaid label onto your package. If your diamonds are of especially high value, please call us at 520-744-3443 to make special arrangements. Please include any certifications that may be associated with your diamonds. You do not need to include appraisals. Also, please fill out the pre-owned form and enclose a copy of your driver’s license.
